Google I/O Extended Karachi 2019

Google Developer Group have organized the Google I/O Extended in 2019 in Karachi at Habib University to focus on workshops and code labs on the latest technology around the globe

Google Developer Group (GDG) Kolachi is a Google developers group in Pakistan which aims to bring together a large group of budding and professional developers from Karachi to learn more about Google technologies. They plan to organize regular developer events where developers can showcase their products and interact with other developers. The group is run by volunteers and experts in this field and organize activities that are free for students with the help of their sponsors and supporters. Out of many of these events, the Google Developer Group are recently planning to organize the Google I/O Extended 2019 in Karachi.

The Google I/O  is an annual developer conference held by Google and was inaugurated in 2008. I/O Extended events are held around the world for developers to take part in the Google I/O experience. This year’s event is taking place on 13th of July 2019 and will take place at Habib University. The event will last for 8 hours and will take place from 9 am to 5pm at the university. At the event, various talks will be conducted on the latest in technology such as tech entrepreneurship, machine learning, android data and web app. The Google I/O provides an opportunity to learn major Google technologies through code labs, experts and networking with other developers.

Due to the limited number of seats in the event, all the shortlisted individuals will later receive a confirmation message. Once the shortlisted participants have given an acknowledgement by replying to a confirmation message. The organizers of the event this year have mentioned that the aim of this I/O Extended experience feature tech talks, product workshops, codelabs, and office hours to make this experience more interactive and focused on Google technologies. In conclusion, this event provides an invaluable experience and one that will provide the necessary networking skills that every budding tech aficionado need to break into the sector.
