Google is rolling out a new AI-powered feature for Gmail users on the web, designed to streamline the email composition process. The “Help me write” feature will assist users in drafting new emails or refining existing ones.

When users open a new draft, they will see a prompt suggesting the use of the “Help me write” feature. This tool leverages AI to generate email content based on the user’s input, making it easier to write clear and concise messages.

Google is also introducing a new “polish” shortcut, which will be available for drafts exceeding 12 words. This feature uses AI to improve the clarity and conciseness of emails, helping users to communicate effectively.

The “Help me write” feature and the “polish” shortcut will gradually roll out to Gmail users in the coming days. To access these features, users will need to subscribe to Google One AI Premium or have the Gemini add-on for Google Workspace.

With the integration of Gemini AI, Google aims to enhance the user experience and make email communication more efficient.
