Foundation Fighting Poverty, in collaboration with Grow With Google and Tech Valley Pakistan, has launched the Google Career Certificates Scholarship Program 2026, offering students and young professionals across Pakistan access to over 70 free online courses spanning three core learning pathways: Technical Infrastructure, The Data and Artificial Intelligence Revolution, and Business and Creative Leadership.

The programme is entirely online and available at no cost, removing the financial and geographical barriers that have historically limited access to quality technology education for a large segment of Pakistan’s youth. The three learning pathways are designed to cover the full spectrum of in-demand digital skills, from foundational technical and cloud infrastructure knowledge to more specialised training in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, alongside business strategy and creative disciplines that are increasingly valued in the digital economy. By structuring the curriculum around industry-recognised Google Career Certificates, the programme ensures that learners walk away with credentials that carry weight with employers, rather than informal training that is difficult to verify or benchmark.

Foundation Fighting Poverty, which has consistently focused on creating tangible economic pathways for underserved communities, framed the initiative as a direct investment in the future workforce of Pakistan. With Pakistan’s digital economy continuing to expand and demand for technology talent growing both domestically and in global freelance and remote work markets, equipping young people with certified, job-ready skills is one of the more direct interventions available. Interested applicants can register at https://lnkd.in/deyRYtgX and begin their enrolment into the scholarship programme immediately.

about
CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
