The Career Services Office at FAST-NUCES Islamabad Campus has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with VisionTact, formalizing a collaboration aimed at strengthening the connection between academic learning and industry practice for the university’s students. The agreement follows discussions between the two sides that centered on three specific areas of cooperation, giving the partnership a defined scope rather than an open ended arrangement.
According to the announcement, the partnership discussions focused on internship opportunities, talent pipeline development, and Industrial Final Year Project collaborations, with each area intended to create a more structured pathway for students to gain exposure to real world industry work. Through the internship component, students are expected to gain direct experience working within VisionTact’s operations, while the talent pipeline focus is aimed at building a more sustained and long term relationship between the company and the university’s student body rather than a series of one off placements. The Industrial FYP element allows students to work on real world projects and challenges as part of their Final Year Projects, giving their academic capstone work a direct connection to problems and requirements originating from an actual industry partner rather than a purely theoretical or self directed project scope.
The Career Services Office described the collaboration as part of a broader effort to create more structured pathways for students to gain practical industry exposure and connect with potential employers before they complete their degrees. This kind of structured engagement is intended to help ease the transition many students face when moving from academic environments into professional work settings, giving them earlier and more direct contact with the kinds of projects and expectations they are likely to encounter after graduation. The university expressed appreciation for VisionTact’s willingness to engage directly with FAST-NUCES talent, framing the company’s participation as a sign of trust in the quality of students coming out of the Islamabad campus specifically.
