Cricket T20 world cup has started and the craze is at an all-time high. International Cricket Council (ICC)’s event T20 world cup started on March 8th and will run until April 3rd. 16 men’s and 10 women’s cricket teams will face each other to determine who will be crowned the world champions of the 20-over cricket. The sixth edition of the ICC World Twenty20 will be played across eight cities in India and the final of the tournament will be played on April 3 at the iconic Eden Garden’s Stadium in Kolkata.

To cater to cricket fans around the world, social media giant Facebook has introduced an option of temporary profile picture frames for the fans to show support for their favorite teams. Fans can visit their favorite teams’ Pages to discover the frames. This new option has really gained popularity among cricket fans as people from all around the world are changing their displays to show support to their favorite teams.

Mark Zuckerberg announced:

Another feature ‘Facebook Live’ will enable fans to get closer to the game by letting them enjoy live videos of over 50 post-match press conferences in real-time from the stadium as well as match analysis, reviews, behind the scenes action, player conferences and more.

The social media website has also launched a new sticker pack, Cricket Match-up, featuring popular match moments such as umpire calls, player celebrations and catches and LBWs.
