Fasset Partners with NUST to Educate One Million Pakistani Youth on Web3 and Digital Assets

Fasset, a globally regulated digital assets gateway, is set to empower one million young individuals in Pakistan with knowledge about Web3 and digital assets. This initiative is part of Fasset’s collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office of Pakistan under the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP).

The partnership aims to align academic research with commercial needs and prepare for the upcoming technology revolution of Web3.0. Dr. Nasir Rashid, Dean of the NUST College of EME, highlighted the significance of this collaboration in positioning Pakistan to participate in the Web3.0 era.

Key components of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Fasset and NUST include awareness-raising initiatives for Web3.0 and cutting-edge technologies, offering internships and job opportunities at Fasset for qualified NUST students, involving NUST professors in Fasset’s events and projects, and jointly organizing conferences of international standing.

In addition to this, Fasset announced its Ambassador program, appointing Muhammad Nafeel Sohail from EME NUST as its first ambassador. Sohail, a blockchain lead at Google Developers Student Club EME NUST, will play a pivotal role in promoting Web3 technologies and digital assets among his peers.

This collaboration between Fasset and NUST holds the potential to fuel Pakistan’s tech ecosystem and foster innovation in the field of blockchain and Web3 technologies. With the rising importance of cryptocurrencies and digital assets globally, this partnership aims to equip Pakistani youth with the necessary knowledge and skills to thrive in the digital economy.
