Digital citizenship is the cornerstone of how we interact with and function in today’s society, and technology literacy is a key 21st century skill! I appreciate Dr. Fouzia Khan inviting me to the Dr. Mariam Chughtai-moderated National Curriculum Dialogue.

It was good to see that Govt of Sindh has adopted some of my recommendations proposed back in 2019 and computer subject curriculum has been revised, similarly at the national level (K-12) I proposed inclusion of Digital Literacy & Citizenship courses, alongside Future Ready Skills component to gear up students around fundamental digital skills across various domains which will certainly help them in preparing for future jobs and business opportunities. The best part is that all of this is already available at Microsoft Learn & LinkedIn Learning! If you have any additional recommendations, feedback or need help do let us know!

about
CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
