Under the direction of professors from the Department of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Ms. Amna Ashraf, Mr. Adnan Shah Bhukari, and Mr. Mobeen Shahroz, and with the kind assistance of HoD, Dr. Muhammad Faheem Mushtaq, the student delegation from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur visited the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication in Islamabad. They met with Mr. Raza Ahmed Sukhera, Joint Director Policy They discussed the initiatives taken under the inspirational direction of Engr. Dr. Athar Mahboob to create a flexible and research-oriented environment in a variety of computing fields, particularly for AI-based solutions, as well as the plans to prepare students for job placement to meet industry needs.
Mr. Raza Ahmed Sukhera recognised and commended the Department of Artificial Intelligence’s accomplishments. He describes the National Freelancing Facilitation Policy 2022 and BootCamp Training Service, which offer a model course work and methodology to be used as a guideline by universities and other institutions to train students in the future and prepare them for software development jobs in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and Blockchain Technology for the next decade 2020–2029. He expresses interest in going to the Islamia University of Bahawalpur to make plans for various events.
