The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has implemented an online reporting mechanism for filing biannual returns under the Employees’ Contributory Funds (Investment in Listed Securities) Regulations, 2018. This will help enterprises comply with the law.

SECP’s efforts to promote digitalization, convenience of doing business, and a paperless environment include the establishment of this reporting system.

The online filing procedure would help maintain a centralised database of contributed funds and lessen the administrative load of managing forms in SECP.

To use the online filing service, companies/trusts must first log in to SECP’s e-Services using their available User ID and then select the ‘Process of Filing of Employee Contributory Fund Return’ from the process listing page. Those trusts that have not yet registered with e-Services must complete the User Registration process with a valid CNIC.

Companies/trusts can file their returns for the period ending June 30, 2021 by going to https://eservices.secp.gov.pk/eServices and following the instructions.
