EDVON Selected for IEEE-RAS Boot Camp in China

Pakistani startup EDVON, is among the top 14 startups in the world to be selected for the global startup bootcamp

EDVON is one of the first few companies in Pakistan to be focusing on developing educational robots providing services to schools, colleges and universities. In this effort, they are working with different institutes to establish Robotics Lab at schools, colleges and universities, provide curriculum to schools, colleges and universities, Teacher training certification, Weekend classes, Winter Camp, Summer Camp and lots more!

Alumni of The Nest I/O, Blackbox Connect Program and a recent graduate of Cycle9 at the Plan9 Incubator, EDVON has already made their mark in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Adding to their milestones, EDVON has recently been selected as the first startup from Pakistan to go to the prestigious Robotic Startup Bootcamp at Hollywood of Makers, Dongguan, China. 

IEEE RAS Robotic Startup Boot Camp

The brother duo, Muhammad Nabeel and Huzaifa, have been recently selected to participate at the IEEE RAS Robotic Startup Bootcamp, which is to be held in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, China.

Globally, only 14 teams were selected from all over the world that includes individuals and startups from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, CMU, USA, Georgia Tech, Cornell University, NTU, and CMU etc.

EDVON believes in education for all and talent is everywhere that’s why EDVON applied for the funding to established robotics lab in underprivileged schools so that students from diverse backgrounds can benefit from state-of- the-art education system.

By August 2017, EDVON in collaboration with IEEE RAS is also to establish a robotics lab in an underprivileged school run by a non-profit organization.
