EduFi has partnered with the National Institute of Technology (NIT) to launch an initiative aimed at easing access to education for thousands of students across Pakistan. This collaboration marks a major step forward in education financing, with EduFi’s ‘Study Now, Pay Later’ (SNPL) program enabling over 3,000 students to pursue higher education without the burden of immediate financial constraints. By leveraging EduFi’s digital infrastructure, students are provided a pathway to continue their studies through a swift and accessible process supported by technology.

At the center of the initiative is EduFi’s mobile platform, available on both Android and iOS, which simplifies the entire application process for students seeking financing. The app offers an efficient interface for applying, managing, and tracking their education-related loans and funding, allowing students to focus on academics rather than financial pressure. This model aligns with global trends in fintech-driven education support and brings an innovative solution to a longstanding problem in Pakistan’s academic landscape.

This partnership also contributes to the regional impact of Arizona State University, which powers NIT. By reinforcing its presence in Pakistan, the university supports its mission of delivering accessible, quality education globally. The SNPL program reflects this mission by making higher education viable for students from various financial backgrounds, improving equity within the education system.

A formal signing ceremony was held at NIT’s Lahore office, where representatives from both organizations discussed the long-term strategic vision for educational accessibility. EduFi’s Head of Sales, Talal Haider, and Co-ordination Head, Rana Zafar, joined NIT’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. Faisal Bari, and Head of Finance and Operations, Sajid Maruf Khan, to commemorate the collaboration. The event underscored mutual goals of building digital-first academic financing models and scaling their reach to empower more students.

EduFi’s partnership with NIT marks a defining moment in the evolution of student financing in Pakistan. As an early mover in tech-driven education support, EduFi is addressing key barriers to higher education through its accessible financing structure. Students are no longer required to defer or abandon their academic goals due to financial limitations. With this digital solution, the process is streamlined and transparent, providing quick access to support with minimal documentation or delay.

By working with a respected institution like NIT, EduFi strengthens its presence in the academic ecosystem and reinforces its role as a facilitator of educational equity. This alliance reflects a commitment to building a future where every student, regardless of income level, has access to high-quality education. The initiative sets a precedent for how digital financial tools can positively transform education delivery in developing markets, bringing long-term benefits to individuals and society.
