Through the partnership between NBP and Jazz Cash, drivers can now apply or their learning license and those applying for renewal of their license can now pay the fee through their Jazz Cash Mobile Account or Jazz Cash agents.

According to Driving License DIG Mazhar Nawaz,

“This new system will stop the agent mafia, which were earlier operating at driving license branches, and will help keep a check on fake licenses.” Along with seeing an end to the agent mafia system, license contenders will not only be spared from a long documentation process but those seeking for a learning license will get it directly on their national identity cards.

According to the IG, people can get their licenses now within 5 minutes from the Clifton office. The new digital system is to spread soon across the province. Additionally, the IG informed that the system of fee collection for driving license has been handed over to NBP from Pakistan Post after Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s approval.
