Delegation from Mobile Phone Traders Association Visits PTA Headquarters

A delegation representing the All Pakistan Mobile Phone Traders Association, led by General Secretary Munir Baig Mirza, paid a visit to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Headquarters. The purpose of the visit was to discuss matters concerning the business interests of mobile phone traders, with a particular focus on mobile devices, applicable FBR duties, and the subsequent impact on the traders.

During the meeting, the delegation had the opportunity to meet with PTA Chairman Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman. The discussions revolved around addressing the concerns and issues faced by mobile phone traders in the industry. The delegation emphasized the challenges posed by FBR duties and their effects on the traders’ businesses.

In response, Chairman Hafeez Ur Rehman assured the delegation of the PTA’s cooperation in pursuing their business interests. He expressed the authority’s commitment to work towards finding viable solutions to the challenges faced by mobile phone traders, particularly in relation to applicable duties.

The delegation conveyed their gratitude to Chairman Hafeez Ur Rehman for his receptive approach and the assurance of the PTA’s support. The visit concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing their commitment to continued collaboration for the betterment of the mobile phone trading sector in Pakistan.
