In a significant move towards bridging the digital divide, Confiz has donated ten laptops to Swiss Model High School, Lahore, as part of the Swiss Education Project Pakistan (SEPP). This initiative aims to empower students with essential computer literacy skills, unlocking academic and professional growth opportunities.

This marks Confiz’s second consecutive donation, following the provision of laptops to the Government College for Women in Data Nagar. The corporate social responsibility (CSR) committee volunteers, Amna Arooj, Ahmed Mujtaba, and Bilal Ghafeer, represented Confiz during this initiative, receiving overwhelming support from the school’s administration.

During their visit, the Confiz team interacted with students and teachers, sharing professional and personal journeys, offering guidance about the professional world, and emphasizing the crucial role of technology in today’s workforce.

With computer literacy becoming an indispensable skill, Confiz’s donation aims to equip teachers and students at Swiss Model High School with basic digital literacy. The laptops will enhance the classroom learning experience and expand access to online learning opportunities, promoting inclusivity in education.

Swiss Model High School, established in 1999 under the Swiss Education Project Pakistan, operates on the core principle of empowering students through education to break the cycle of poverty. The school provides free education but faces resource constraints. Confiz’s donation addresses this challenge, contributing to an enriched learning environment.

Amna Arooj, a key driver of this initiative at Confiz, expressed her joy, stating, “Empowering young minds through education and technology is not just a responsibility; it’s an opportunity to shape a brighter future of young boys and girls.”

Mrs. Usbah Ali, Principal at Swiss Model High School, expressed gratitude for Confiz’s generous donation, recognizing its commitment to advancing education and empowering students.

Confiz’s proactive promotion of computer literacy highlights the positive impact IT companies can have on the younger generation. By providing access to technology and education, Confiz is actively contributing to breaking the chains of poverty and fostering a brighter future. This initiative sets an inspiring example for other companies to follow suit and make a meaningful impact on global youth.
