Last month, they successfully carried off a Codefest 2017 in Karachi that provided an opportunity for participants to test their skills against the best talent in the city through a speed programming contest. Participants included more than 300 teams, comprising IT professionals and computer science graduates, with the competition designed to test the coding and analytical skills of participants within a specific time constraint. This ensured that CodeFest 2017 not only judged the contestants’ proficiency in programming, but also their ability to work successfully in a high-pressure environment.
The winner of the competition was Team FEGit that took home the grand prize of Rs 50,000, while the runner-up position went to K-Team. MD 10Pearls Zeeshan Aftab speaking on the occasion about the event said,
“We are supporting activities like this to create an ecosystem that allows professionals to improve their skill sets, compete with the best and contribute back to the community.”
