Continental Biscuits Limited and Kinetic Pakistan have collaborated to launch Pakistan’s first ever digitally interactive selfie billboard

Continental Biscuits Limited and Kinetic Pakistan have collaborated to launch Pakistan’s first ever digitally interactive selfie billboard. The idea originated with the launch of Candi Biscuit’s new theme of celebrating Khaas Friendship just like the ‘Khaas Mithas’ of Candi.

According to the press release, the idea is to socially engage for the audience especially the young audience. In the social media savvy segment, friendship has been identified as an important bond along with the importance of capturing every moment of their camaraderie through selfies and subsequently by sharing their cherished moments on social media.

The Candi #KhaasDost Selfie Billboard is an interactive selfie billboard that was created at Akbar Chowk, Lahore, a prominent location with ample moving and pedestrian traffic around it.

The board can be used by anyone with a mobile phone or desktop. People in Lahore get a Candi SMS to celebrate friendship by sharing their selfies with their #KhaasDost to feature on the Candi Billboard. The selfies are displayed in real-time on a live mega billboard in Lahore.

However, people in other cities can share their selfies by visiting candikhaasdost.com. The featured selfie on the billboard then sent back to the user as a cherishing #KhaasDost moment via SMS.

The interactive billboard has quickly become the talk of the town for its creativity and engagement.
