Calling it Quits: YCombinator COO Qasar Younis Moves On

Qasar Younis, started out his journey to YCombinator as an entrepreneur for his company TalkBin, which 3 years later he sold to Google. Only to later on become partner and Chief Operating Officer at YCombinator.

YCombinator is considered to be one of the world’s most powerful start-up incubators and has churned out many successful startups in the past.

He has recently quit his job at the incubator to work “on something new,” according to the departing executive’s personal site and Facebook account. The former COO is planning on starting something new, according to his social media account:

“I’ve been thinking of starting my own thing. After three years at Google and three at YC, I think it’s time, I’m not ready to announce what I’m doing next but I’m sure it won’t be a surprise to any of you.”
