Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad handed three persons over to Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) for investigation over allegedly posting blasphemous content on social media website, Samaa reported.

The three suspected blasphemers, arrested within three days, over uploading blasphemous content on social media websites were produced before an anti-terrorism court judge Syed Kausar Abbas Zaidi.

The investigation agency requested the judge to grant physical remand of the suspects so they could find out other people involved in the practise.

The ATC judge, accepting FIA’s request, handed the three suspects on physical remand over to the investigation department for seven days.

ATC has ordered FIA to reproduce the three men on 31st and submit the investigation report  to the court.
