Publisher Nexon and developer Embark Studios have confirmed that third person extraction shooter ARC Raiders has crossed 12.4 million units sold worldwide since its launch on October 30, 2025. The update was shared a few hours ago and aligns with recent estimates from Alinea Analytics, which had already indicated that the title had passed the 12 million sales mark. Alongside strong sales performance, the game has also recorded close to 960,000 concurrent players during January, placing it within reach of the one million concurrent user level across platforms.

The latest figures further highlight ARC Raiders’ ability to sustain player engagement during its early live service phase. Despite discussion within the community around the use of AI generated voices, player activity has remained strong, suggesting continued interest in the game’s core experience. The live service roadmap for ARC Raiders is still in its early stages, yet the title has already demonstrated notable retention across major regions. To acknowledge community support, Embark Studios announced an in game reward for players, offering a Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool to everyone who has logged into the game at least once since launch. Eligible players must log in before 23:59 Central European Time today to receive the item, positioning the reward as both a celebration and a gesture of appreciation.

In a statement included in the announcement, Nexon President and Chief Executive Officer Junghun Lee expressed satisfaction with the game’s continued performance across markets. He said the company was pleased with the strong retention and sustained enthusiasm shown by players worldwide, noting that while the October launch exceeded expectations, reaching more than 12.4 million units sold and recording 960,000 concurrent users in January further demonstrates the franchise’s potential. Lee added that ARC Raiders reflects Nexon’s broader objective of expanding its global footprint through new titles designed to attract and grow large communities across multiple platforms. He also credited Embark Studios with delivering a differentiated experience within a highly competitive global genre, aligning with player expectations across regions.

Embark Studios Founder and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Söderlund also shared remarks, emphasizing the role of the player community in reaching the milestone. He described the 12.4 million unit figure as a major landmark for the studio and stated that it would not have been possible without the continued involvement of players. Söderlund noted that the community has been part of the project from its earliest stages and that player feedback and ideas continue to influence how the game develops over time. His comments reinforced the studio’s focus on maintaining close engagement with its audience as ARC Raiders evolves through updates and seasonal content.

Beyond sales and player counts, ARC Raiders has also gained industry recognition. The game received the Best Multiplayer Game award at The Game Awards 2025 and was also honored with the Most Innovative Gameplay prize at the Steam Awards 2025. These accolades have contributed to its visibility within the global gaming market and reinforced its position among notable multiplayer releases of the year. ARC Raiders is also currently a strong contender for Wccftech’s Best Multiplayer Game award, with community voting still open at the time of reporting. Together, the commercial performance, player engagement metrics, and industry recognition illustrate the scale of interest surrounding ARC Raiders as it continues its live service journey.
