The all girls team Auj from NUST earlier this year made waves when they announced that they are working on their own Formula 1 car for the Student Formula Competition. The competition is an annual event in the UK, and Auj was one of the participants out of hundreds from across the world.

The team received a lot of appreciation and support at the ceremony for being the only all girls team in the history of Formula Student UK, and also won the RACE TECH magazine’s spirit of Formula Student Award.

The team consisted of 15 talented young girls. Among them are Harim Akhtar, Hanadi Hayat, Aatrah Rauf Shaikh, Sabah Zaman, Laiba Rodyna, Hira Ejaz, Wardah Jamal, Minahil Malik, Fatima Sohail, and Azka Athar.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
