AlifLaila Kids Digital Library has announced a new partnership with Premier DLC, a project run under the Beaconhouse Group, aimed at expanding access to digital reading for children across Pakistan. The organisation said the collaboration marks a significant step in its ongoing mission to get more children reading on a daily basis, describing the partnership as a way to bring greater scale to that goal by combining the reach of both organisations.

According to AlifLaila, the platform currently serves more than 50,000 children through inclusive, multilingual digital literature, while Premier DLC brings its own track record of having assessed 250,000 students and trained over 30,000 teachers. The two organisations said that by working together, they intend to make reading more accessible and turn it into a more interactive experience for children, while also supporting broader efforts around cultural literature and digital literacy in the country. The partnership was framed as part of a wider push to support quality education outcomes, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal focused on education.

The announcement was shared alongside acknowledgement of several partner organisations and institutions that have supported AlifLaila’s work, including UNESCO Pakistan, Amazon Web Services, HundrED, the CSR Forum Pakistan, the Pakistan Foundational Learning Hub, the National Book Foundation, UNICEF Pakistan, The Citizens Foundation, Teach the World Foundation, Beaconhouse, The City School, The Educators, and United Charter Schools, a project of Beaconhouse. The post also recognised individuals connected to the education and literacy space in Pakistan who have been part of the broader network supporting these initiatives.

The partnership between AlifLaila and Premier DLC reflects a wider trend of collaboration between digital literacy platforms and established education groups in Pakistan, as organisations look to combine technology driven reading tools with institutional reach in schools. AlifLaila said it remains focused on building a future where literature is accessible and culturally relevant for children, and that the Premier DLC partnership is expected to support that goal by extending its reach into a much larger network of students and teachers already engaged through Beaconhouse Group’s education programmes.
