Beware of New Scam: Rise in Phony Bank Receipts Raises Concerns

Hello everyone,

We want to bring your attention to a concerning issue that requires caution. Lately, we have noticed an increase in incidents where individuals present counterfeit bank receipts, claiming to have deposited money into our account. These fake slips are crafted using software like Photoshop and may have subtle variations from authentic receipts, such as differing fonts and other details. Meezan Bank seems to be one of the most commonly exploited brands in these fraudulent attempts. To safeguard our community, we are sharing an example of a fake receipt here. Stay vigilant and verify all transactions to avoid falling prey to this deceitful scam. Your awareness can help protect others from such fraudulent practices.
