TiE Islamabad, in partnership with the Royal Danish Embassy in Pakistan, has announced the launch of the AgriTech Entrepreneurship Program

AgriTech Entrepreneurship Program, in partnership with Royal Danish Embassy Pakistan, is a comprehensive virtual incubation program for agri-startups with innovative solutions and modern easy-to-adopt technologies, supporting the Pakistani Government’s vision of economic revival by means of modernizing the agriculture sector.

The deadline for registrations for the first cohort of the program is September 30th, 2020. TiE Islamabad has extended the deadline to accommodate and facilitate a maximum number of students, founders, and startups working in the agricultural sector.
The program has been developed to engage startups to apply innovative solutions to the Pakistani Agri-industry. The program structure includes extensive capacity-building workshops and mentoring sessions.
The virtual incubation program encompasses the development of agritech startups to manifest innovative solutions, supplemented by modern, easily-adoptable technologies, supporting the Pakistani Government’s vision of advancing the agriculture sector.
Other benefits of being a part of this, first-of-its-kind cohort include:
  • Establishing linkages with Danish mentors and trainers, as well as members of the Danish private sector.
  • Business Regulatory Support will be provided in this program covering all formalities and documentation requirements. This is absolutely free of charge.
  • As part of the incubation cycle, startups also get a chance to become a part of a high-powered “Investor’s Conference”. This will be organized for the top 10 startups to access funding and opportunities for investment.
For more information or queries on the program, feel free to reach out to the TiE Islamabad team on info@tieislamabad.org

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
