Jazz has issued a strong rebuttal to the observations presented in the Auditor General of Pakistan’s (AGP) Telecommunication Sector Audit for 2024–25, emphasizing that the company continues to operate in full alignment with Pakistan’s regulatory framework. The operator clarified that its services and tariffs are only introduced after formal review and approval by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), which ensures that all offerings remain within the boundaries of clear and transparent procedures mandated by law.

The company highlighted that it has provided comprehensive documentation demonstrating timely regulatory approvals, as well as proof of all mandatory contributions required under Pakistan’s telecom regime. By furnishing these records, Jazz underscored its commitment to transparency and compliance, noting that the audit observations do not reflect the regulatory facts or the role of authorities in supervising the sector. Company representatives reiterated that every product and service offered to customers has been cleared by PTA, ensuring affordability, fairness, and compliance with national regulations.

Jazz also reassured its customer base that its operations are governed by integrity and transparency, with a consistent focus on providing services that meet the expectations of millions of subscribers across Pakistan. The company’s position reflects confidence in the institutional framework established to regulate the telecom sector and maintains that the audit’s findings need to be interpreted within this broader context of regulatory oversight, documented approvals, and sector contributions.

By challenging the audit observations, Jazz reaffirmed its role as a responsible operator in Pakistan’s telecom industry, committed to both its customers and the authorities overseeing the sector. The company stressed that it remains focused on delivering reliable, affordable, and regulator-approved services, while continuing to align with the national objectives of digital inclusion and sectoral development.
