Brillanz Group, the globally recognized venture building firm known for its disruptive impact across industries, has announced the launch of its latest innovation—Boltlike Solutions Private Limited—which is poised to bring a groundbreaking shift to Television Audience Measurement (TAM) in Pakistan. The launch follows the formal awarding of a TAM license by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) in a competitive and professionally managed bidding process. The license was handed over by PEMRA Chairman Muhammad Saleem during a ceremony at the authority’s headquarters in Islamabad.

Boltlike Solutions marks Brillanz Group’s strategic entry into Pakistan’s media measurement landscape. With a mission to deliver never-before-seen levels of accuracy and transparency, Boltlike promises to provide real-time, highly granular audience insights powered by cutting-edge technology. This move is expected to benefit a wide range of stakeholders in the media ecosystem—from broadcasters and advertisers to content creators—by enabling smarter, faster, and more reliable decision-making.

A UK-based technology firm with a strong global presence, Brillanz Group has built a legacy of innovation across telecom, energy, and data analytics. Its new focus on the media sector builds upon that foundation, bringing the same forward-thinking, tech-driven approach to audience measurement. The company has appointed seasoned media veteran Faisal Paracha as Managing Director of Boltlike Solutions to lead this ambitious venture, while Bilal Qureshi, Co-Founder and Group CEO of Brillanz, will serve as Chairman to provide strategic oversight and ensure alignment with Brillanz’s larger vision.

“At Brillanz, we have consistently challenged the status quo,” said Bilal Qureshi during the license award ceremony. “Whether it was redefining the telecom landscape, pioneering the nation’s first energy storage solutions, or building groundbreaking analytics platforms—our mission has always been to innovate with purpose. With Boltlike Solutions, we are reimagining how media insights are generated—making them faster, fairer, and future-ready for everyone involved in the media ecosystem.”

Faisal Paracha emphasized the critical need for reliable, tech-driven audience data in Pakistan’s evolving media market. “We are thankful to PEMRA for trusting us with this opportunity. Our technology will offer transparent, real-time audience measurement, empowering stakeholders to make informed and timely decisions. The depth and precision of our analytics will raise the bar for the entire sector.”

At the heart of Boltlike Solutions’ offering are People Meter devices equipped with precision-grade MEMS sensors and isolated audio capture technology. These devices are engineered to operate seamlessly even in noisy environments, capturing real-time audio signatures that allow for immediate audience shift tracking. With modular, future-proof hardware, the system supports integrations for features like sentiment analysis and second-screen engagement.

The platform’s backend is built for convergence, enabling unified measurement of both linear and digital media. Moreover, the system ensures complete transparency and trust through tamper-proof firmware, audit-friendly analytics, and security protocols that meet the highest international privacy standards.

In a bid to enhance representativeness, Boltlike is also conducting a fresh, ground-up establishment survey to develop a truly national household data panel. This ensures that its measurement framework reflects the full diversity of Pakistan’s viewership.

As the media industry in Pakistan demands more sophisticated tools for understanding viewer behavior, Boltlike Solutions enters the scene not just as a technology provider, but as a transformative force. Through real-time analytics, agile infrastructure, and scalable innovation, Brillanz is reshaping TAM in Pakistan—making it smarter, faster, and undeniably more transparent.
