The Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the last two years have brought a spectacle for cricket fans to follow. The last two editions of the PSL were without a shadow of a doubt, highly successful in their own right. After the recent success with the T20 series held in Lahore, this year’s edition of the PSL promises to be nothing lesser. As the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are continuously working to make every edition better than before, they try to collaborate with multiple companies and organizations to boost its overall brand. One of the key aspects of that include attracting sponsors to ensure they have enough funding to finance a large chunk of costs associated with the PSL.

One of the major priorities of PCB in the first year was to attract the major title sponsorship which was awarded to HBL at estimated worth of $6 million. Now, HBL are planning to maintain their sponsorship award even its third edition. Alongside, Qatar Airways are maintaining their long-term partnerships with PSL as their exclusive airline partner. This also includes local brands such as Dostea and Oye Hoye who have become title partners for various franchises in the league.
With their approach to expand their brand, they have collaborated with Titans Autographs as their Official Memorabilia Partner. Through this partnership, Titans will hold rights towards autographs and original merchandise ken from the Pakistan National Team. In order to make their matches more accessible, PCB have announced that PTV, Geo Sports and Ten Sports as the three official broadcasting partners for the PSL which also includes newly formed partnerships with DSport in India, A Plus and UK 44 in the UK which allows the matches to be watched around the world. This is further strengthened by PCB’s partnerships with CricketGateway which allow cricket fans to see the matches online as well in countries such as Australia, UK, USA, Singapore, UAE, Canada, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Germany, India and Japan apart from other parts of the world.

Finally, one of the more pivotal partnerships include the recently announced partnership with Yayvo.com where tickets can be exclusively sold through TCS and Yayvo’s website as well. In this day and age, where e-commerce is all the rage, it makes perfect business sense to have an e-commerce company aboard the largest cricket fiasco. The application was developed by Lahore based company; Bramerz. The app was a fantastic hit that allowed live streaming, scores, results and exclusive content.
PCB is doing everything in their power to make the matches and tournaments more accessible to the people there. Through cross-industry partnerships with renowned and reliable companies such as these offer hassle-free instant booking. With works and collaborations such as these, the third edition of the PSL is easily proving to be one of the most exciting versions that PCB has ever managed to produce.
