Wafaqi Mohtasib is a committee that consists of public advocates that help one resolve their grievances regarding Federal Government institutions. They are a group that is dedicated to simplifying the process of complaint filing.
Therefore, in order to make their system more efficient, they are all set to launch a mobile application where citizens can lodge their complaints simply through a few taps. The team from National Information Technology Board (NITB) recently gave a briefing regarding the new application to Federal Ombudsman Syed Tahir Shahbaz regarding how one can file a complaint easily through the app.
According to sources, the app will allow the complainant to file the complaint using pictures of the written complaint or documents pertaining to it. Furthermore, users will also be able to check the status of their complaint to see if any action has been taken or not. However, the app is yet to be made public.
