On Thursday, 25th October 2018 Total Communications organized the 1st Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Day at the Marriot in Islamabad. The aim of the CTI Day in Islamabad was to raise awareness and to provide an independent and neutral platform to discuss the pre-requisites and benefits of a mature cyber-threat intelligence program.
The audience at the conference included Armed Forces, private enterprises, universities, public sector organizations, national and international companies specializing in cyber security. The event served as an opportunity for the cyber security professionals to discuss and share ideas in order to come up with clear way forward in institutionalizing cyber threat intelligence at organization, sector, and government levels.
The key themes of the conference included: CTI today and tomorrow, CTI: Standardization, Legislation & Frameworks, CTI – Led Proactive Cyber Defense, CTI – Led Proactive Cyber Defense, and CTI: How can a country be ready? M. Asif Riaz, CEO Arrays Pvt Ltd also facilitated a workshop on Cyber Threat Intelligence.
