OpenSignal, an analytics firm, has revealed its latest findings on mobile network usage in Pakistan for Q2 2023 (April to June). Zong emerges as a frontrunner among mobile networks, excelling in multiple performance metrics.

In the realm of consistency, a pivotal benchmark, Zong takes the lead, outpacing Ufone and Jazz. While Ufone and Jazz closely follow, Telenor slightly lags. A visual representation of these rankings is provided in the accompanying graph.

Regarding overall network availability, all four companies exhibit commendable scores with marginal performance differences. Notably, Zong maintains its leading position in this aspect as well.

Zooming out to the broader mobile network usage experience, Zong takes a prominent lead in most categories, while Jazz and Ufone stand their ground in specific areas. However, Telenor falls short of clinching victory in any of the mentioned categories.

These categories encompass diverse aspects like video streaming, live streaming, gaming, voice calls, download speeds, and upload speeds. Zong remains the dominant force in Pakistan, sweeping triumphs across all six Overall Experience award categories — either individually or in collaboration. Zong secures an exclusive win in Video Experience, Games Experience, Voice App Experience, and Download Speed Experience. Furthermore, Zong jointly shares the honor with Jazz for the premier Live Video Experience and the Upload Speed Experience in Pakistan.

Ufone, though not reaching the zenith achieved by Zong or Jazz, maintains a steady performance track record, particularly excelling in 3G video streaming, live streaming, and voice calls.
