Zong 4G Partner With Government Of Multan To Create Awareness Amidst Covid-19

Zong 4G is one of the country’s leading telecommunication operators. The company has gone on to express their support towards the fight against the pandemic and have been working with the Government of Pakistan in numerous areas. Recently Zong 4G have announced their partnership with the Government Authorities in Multan in an effort to create awareness about Covid-19.

Due to the partnership between Zong 4G and various local government authorities, their partnership with the authority in Multan will facilitate various services. These services primarily include free voice connectivity, Mobile Broadband, Zong 4G bolt devices to front-line workers that will be facilitated by Zong 4G. These workers will benefit greatly on a very reliable, secure and fast connection that is offered by Zong 4G. This will work in the effort to help the Government and these frontline workers to be well-equipped to collaborate their teams in the case of an emergency response. As per the agreements of the partnership. Zong 4G have sent out over 2.8 million COVID-19 free text messages across Multan in an effort to create awareness about COVID-19.

A spokesperson for Zong 4G was noted to have said that: “With the surge in the demand to respond to COVID-19 cases, the Government needs seamless connectivity more than ever. We have gladly offered our support to them and by using our connectivity, they can respond to COVID-19 patients more effectively…We want to do our part now as society battles against COVID-19. Therefore, Zong 4G has and will continue to stand with the Government of Pakistan during these difficult circumstances.”

Zong 4G have taken part in the fight against the pandemic by already partnering with organizations such as the Federal Government, Provincial Governments, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), National Institute of Health (NIH), Indus Hospital, Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) to organize various relief activities in Pakistan.
