Zindigi, JS Bank’s digital banking platform, has launched its Visa Virtual Debit Card, a move that reinforces its commitment to providing a fully digital payment experience for users across Pakistan. The newly introduced virtual debit card is designed to function entirely through the Zindigi mobile app, offering instant creation and immediate usability for both local and international transactions without the need for a physical card.

Developed with a strong focus on convenience and security, the Visa Virtual Debit Card enables users to manage their digital finances with just one click. Customers can generate the card directly through the app and use it instantly for e-commerce, global subscriptions, or online platforms. The card incorporates 3D Secure verification, which adds an essential layer of fraud protection for users, safeguarding sensitive financial data during transactions.

Key features of the card include the ability to block or unblock it within the app, giving users full autonomy over their spending activity. Additional controls allow customers to toggle between enabling local or international usage and set individual spending limits based on their preferences. These options are designed to support flexible financial management while maintaining a high level of user confidence in digital banking.

Faisal Khalid, Chief Product Officer at Zindigi, emphasized the platform’s vision to simplify digital banking and expand financial accessibility. He stated that the Visa Virtual Debit Card is intended to empower users by allowing them to transact globally while remaining in full control of their finances. The product reflects Zindigi’s broader strategy of offering secure, customizable, and instant financial tools aligned with modern digital lifestyles.

Zindigi has established itself as one of the most downloaded financial apps in Pakistan, with growing adoption among users seeking smart banking features. Its platform has consistently focused on innovation, previously introducing in-app stock trading capabilities, US dollar-based freelancer accounts, and user-personalized banking dashboards. These developments support Zindigi’s mission to reimagine financial experiences and elevate the standard of fintech offerings within the country.

The Visa Virtual Debit Card adds another dimension to Zindigi’s product suite, offering a digital-first alternative that addresses the needs of users engaging in online purchases, digital subscriptions, or international transactions. Its integration into the existing app ensures accessibility and ease of use without requiring customers to visit a branch or wait for card deliveries.

As Pakistan’s fintech ecosystem continues to evolve, digital platforms like Zindigi are helping to accelerate consumer adoption of secure and efficient payment tools. By offering a virtual card with real-time functionality and advanced security options, Zindigi further solidifies its position in the digital banking space, enabling a growing number of users to shift toward cashless, cardless financial interactions.
