In a significant boost for Pakistan’s evolving digital economy, PayFast, a State Bank of Pakistan-licensed fintech, has announced a strategic partnership with Zindigi, the rapidly growing digital banking initiative by JS Bank. This collaboration is expected to accelerate the country’s shift toward modern payment systems, providing businesses and consumers with more streamlined, secure, and customizable digital transaction experiences.

The formal agreement was signed at PayFast’s Head Office located in NASTP, Karachi. This partnership brings together PayFast’s established, secure payment gateway with Zindigi’s robust digital banking framework. The combined strength of these platforms aims to deliver cutting-edge white-label payment solutions tailored for a wide array of businesses across Pakistan. These solutions will make it easier for companies to embed seamless, branded payment systems that not only elevate customer satisfaction but also enhance operational workflows and fortify brand presence.

Zindigi, known for being one of the fastest-growing digital banking players in the market, already maintains one of the largest merchant networks in Pakistan. By integrating PayFast’s secure gateway into its ecosystem, Zindigi is set to further expand its reach, offering merchants and customers a frictionless checkout experience. The partnership is positioned to cater to businesses of all sizes, from agile startups to large-scale enterprises, enabling them to embrace digital transformation with confidence.

Speaking at the ceremony, Arshad Raza, Chairman & CEO at Premier Systems, highlighted the broader implications of the collaboration. He noted that the partnership underscores a shared vision to push the boundaries of digital innovation while fostering financial inclusion throughout the country. By empowering businesses to offer personalized, secure, and scalable digital payment experiences, Zindigi and PayFast are setting new benchmarks for Pakistan’s financial sector.

Noman Azhar, Co-Founder & Chief Officer at Zindigi, shared his perspective on the venture, emphasizing Zindigi’s mission to redefine banking for a tech-savvy generation. He pointed out that today’s customers demand transactions that are not just secure, but also swift and uncomplicated. By partnering with PayFast, Zindigi aims to build a comprehensive ecosystem where enterprises, regardless of their size, can flourish through digital enablement.

Adnan Ali, CEO of PayFast, also expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. He stated that by merging PayFast’s secure and trusted payment infrastructure with Zindigi’s forward-looking digital banking platform, the two companies are positioned to deliver unparalleled value to the market, benefiting both businesses and end consumers.

This partnership marks another important milestone in Zindigi’s journey to provide innovative financial solutions tailored for Pakistan’s youthful and increasingly digital population. By embedding PayFast’s payment technology, Zindigi reinforces its commitment to revolutionizing how people and businesses handle transactions—making payments faster, more accessible, and more closely aligned with local market needs.

As Pakistan continues its push toward a cashless economy, strategic alliances like this one between Zindigi and PayFast are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the future of payments, fostering trust in digital channels, and driving inclusive financial growth across the country.
