YourMunshi Goes Live With North-South Events: Revolutionizing Pakistan’s Legal Landscape

Pakistan’s first AI-powered legal assistant platform, YourMunshi, has officially launched in Islamabad and Karachi, marking a significant milestone in the country’s legal technology journey. This innovative platform integrates Pakistan’s judicial system and legal history, making it easier for the legal community to prepare applications, maintain case diaries, and access judicial decisions.

The launch events, held in Islamabad and Karachi, brought together esteemed members of the legal fraternity, technologists, and government representatives. Amir Zahoor, Co-Founder of YourMunshi, emphasized the benefits of AI in the legal field, stating that “Pakistan is now part of the exciting race” in legal technology.

Advocate Adam Jabbar demonstrated YourMunshi’s capabilities, showcasing how lawyers can optimize their daily legal work. Waqas Ahmed, Co-Founder and Country Manager of YourMunshi, highlighted the importance of AI in legal support, urging the legal community to adopt modern technology.

In Islamabad, notable panelists included Adil Aziz Qazi, Vice Chairman, Islamabad Bar Council; Raja Shakeel Abbasi, President, Islamabad Bar Association; Hassan Ali Raza, Advocate, Supreme Court; and Mohammad Tahir Iqbal Malik, Representative, Legal Rights Forum.

Justice (R) Mushir Alam, Chief Guest, stressed the need for innovation within Pakistan’s legal system through technology integration. He emphasised:

“The future success of lawyers will depend on integrating modern technology into their legal practices”.

In Karachi, the launch event featured Noor Ahmed Samoo, Secretary IT, Government of Sindh; Naeem Qurashi, Member, Sindh Bar Council; Amir Warich, President, Karachi Bar Association; and Muner A Malik, Former President, Karachi Bar Association.

Speakers collectively emphasized the importance of adopting AI technology in the legal profession, citing its potential to save time and resources, and position lawyers for greater success. “Lawyers who leverage AI will save both time and money, ultimately positioning themselves for greater success,” noted Waqas Ahmad.

YourMunshi’s orientation session at the Sindh Judicial Academy for Honorable Judges and officers demonstrated the platform’s practical applications. Waqas Ahmad led the session, addressing judicial use cases and providing a hands-on demonstration.
