Sybrid’s Karachi Office Goes Green With WWF Pakistan

Sybrid is one of the leading Technology and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Service Company in Pakistan and is part of the well-renowned Lakson Group of Companies.

As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and have taken the responsibility of the impact their business has on the Earth’s climate and have decided to make a difference. They have partnered up with WWF Pakistan and signed up for their Green office program.

As part of the agreement, Sybrid is to follow the best practices and requirements as shared by WWF Pakistan and also have their organization certified through them.

Salman Ahmed, Manager QA & PMO Sybrid (Pvt.) Ltd speaking on the occasion said, “Environment friendliness is not limited to our operations but our facilities are in constant pursuit of this trail. A reflection of our efforts is that Our Karachi site is certified as a Green Office by WWF Pakistan. For achieving and maintaining this world renowned certificate, our Green Office Project Team selected and scrutinized three indicators during the year: Paper Reduction, Energy Conservation, and Waste Reduction, which were all found to be satisfactory by WWF Pakistan.”

Sybrid is also to take this initiative for their Islamabad and Lahore offices as well soon. The WWF- Pakistan’s Green Office Initiative is an extension of WWF Finland’s Green Office concept which provides the working community the opportunity to join hands with WWF’s international goal for a better living environment. Under this initiative the WFF Pakistan team provides offices with Environmental Management System (EMS) and walks them through its implementation.
