Furthermore, the DigiSkills.pk training program is funded and powered by Ignite, formerly National ICT R&D Fund. The Virtual University is responsible for the execution, meanwhile the MCOM looks after the advertising and promotion and Semiotics handles the onsite technical monitoring and analytics of the project.

The aim of the project is to change the education system in Pakistan by using online technology to provide knowledge and skills free of cost to every citizen of Pakistan.

The courses on Digiskills.pk are delivered by professional instructors. The courses offered on the platform are: Freelancing, E-Commerce Management, Digital Marketing, Digital Literacy, QuickBooks, AutoCAD, WordPress, Graphics Design, Creative Writing, and SEO.

The program not only develops key specialized skills, but also imparts knowledge about various freelancing and other employment and entrepreneurial opportunities that are available internationally and locally.

about
CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
