Ministry of Science and Technology is all set to establish a science and technology park in Islamabad. The aim of the IT Park is to provide modern facilities to the students for scientific research.
The park will be established in collaboration with COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), according to an official speaking to local news.
It is said that the government has allocated Rs50 million for the project. Moreover, it is reported that the feasibility report of the project has been prepared by a renowned company.
The Rector of COMSATS University Dr Raheel Qamar speaking to the local news said that the purpose of the science and technology park is to promote scientific education among the students.
According to him the establishment of the science and technology park will help to promote science and technology related education and increase entrepreneurship across the country. Along with providing the students with up to date facilities of scientific learning under one roof.
