In the year 2021, WorldCall Telecom Limited suffered a startling loss of Rs. 1.5 billion.

Due to declining revenues from the company’s services and steadily rising operating costs, losses have climbed by a staggering 927 percent.

The financial data show that WorldCall’s income decreased from Rs. 3.1 billion reported in 2020 to Rs. 2.11 billion in 2021.

The telecom provider posted a loss for the second year in a row. WorldCall Telecom recorded a loss of Rs. 1.50 million for the year 2020. The operator kept producing losses that were comparable to its prior record.

In comparison to 0.06 in 2020, the company reported a loss of Rs. 0.51 per share.

After a 5-year hiatus, WorldCall Operators finally turned a profit in 2017. Omen Tel contributed $20 million to the profitability in order to cover liabilities incurred when it left the company as a key sponsor.

With profits of Rs. 447 million in 2018 and Rs. 72 million in 2019, the telecom operator was nevertheless profitable in both years.

WorldCall Telecom was unable to maintain a profit in 2019 and again reported losses that continued into the following year.

ARY Communications Limited and ARY Digital FZ LLC approached the telecom operator about buying a 51 percent stake, but the deal fell through. However, WorldCall Telecom’s strong share prices propelled the equities market.
