Consumers in the US, Canada, and Japan won’t have access to Dell’s “Mobile Connect” service’s download feature after November, and the service will finally expire in January 2023.
Dell Mobile Connect, also known as Alienware Mobile Connect, syncs calls, texts, and notification data from a mobile device to a laptop.
It made its debut in 2018 and worked best with Dell laptops.
According to the company’s support page, “Dell recommended removing Dell Mobile Connect or Alienware Mobile Connect from both your Dell PC and mobile devices before the regional termination date.” As a result, storage space is freed up while ensuring the greatest device experience.
According to The Verge, Intel has already acquired Screenovate, the software that supports Dell Mobile Connect, even though this service will be discontinued. Later this year, Intel is expected to introduce its services.
