Be ready with the Gavel Come 7th

The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has been informed by The Director General enforcement of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority that the 3G auction shall take place on 7th April 2014.  Three-member bench of apex court comprising Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja, Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman and Justice Mushir Alam heard the case. Justice Jawwad noted the injection of billions of rupees into national exchequer through this auction.

Warid Bags SKMT CSR Award

Warid Telecom received SKMT CSR Award in a ceremony held on 11th March 2014 at Faletti’s Hotel Lahore.  It is the third time in a row that company has received this prestigious CSR Award. “Around 70% of our donations come from such responsible organizations and individual support,” said CEO SKMCH&RC, Dr. Faisal Sultan on the occasion.

PTCL Sandwiches Corporate and SMS

PTCL has launched an exclusive Corporate SMS Service, first-of-its kind, in Pakistan.  The service is a complete bulk SMS management system which manages SMS campaigns and offers built-in controls to send web to phone messages to any mobile operator in the country. This service is being offered through a fluid web-based interface allowing mass messages to be sent from any internet-enabled device.

Godino In, Niaz Out –Zong’s new PR

Sheldon Adam Godinho has replaced Farooq Niaz, as he joins Zong (CMPak) as deputy director public relations. Niaz, in the meanwhile, has moved to Telenor in the same capacity. His work would be to report directly to Chief Marketing Officer and his functions include corporate, internal and external communication and Corporate Social Responsibility.
