Supernet Limited and Trend Micro Incorporated, their Japanese technology partner, revealed that a significant Pakistani client has given them a new multi-year project for the acclaimed “Tipping Point” Threat Protection System (TPS), valued at over Rs. 450 million.

TPS from Trend Micro is a potent network security technology that provides thorough threat prevention against both revealed and unknown vulnerabilities. To identify and stop network assaults, the system employs a variety of technologies, including deep packet inspection, threat reputation, URL reputation, and sophisticated malware analysis on a flow-by-flow basis.

The TPS offers thorough contextual awareness and more in-depth network traffic analysis, enabling businesses to adopt a proactive approach to security. This improves the agility and visibility needed to keep up with the dynamic and changing corporate and data centre networks of today.

The integrated solution from Trend Micro and Supernet successfully satisfied the customer’s strict requirements for cutting-edge throughput and latency metrics as well as their difficult scalability and business continuity standards.

Additionally, the customer receives continuous assurance around innovation and access to a cutting-edge cybersecurity knowledge base thanks to Trend Micro’s leadership in cybersecurity research through its flagship “Zero Day Initiative” and Supernet’s local presence and experience with implementation, integration, and post-delivery services.

According to Mr. Chee Hoh Goh, managing director of Trend Micro Incorporated (Malaysia, Pakistan, CLM), Pakistan is a particular area of concentration for the company. Pakistan is one of the region’s most important cybersecurity markets.

“Over the past few years, Trend Micro has increased the size of its operations in Pakistan by making strategic investments in building out our local alliances and distribution network. In order to deliver cutting-edge solutions to Pakistan, we have been closely collaborating with our partner Supernet. Additionally, it is great to see that we are becoming a trusted partner for several important firms in the nation across all market categories,” he continued.
