Startup Weekend Lahore is making a much-anticipated return this year with an exciting new edition themed “FutureTech: Blockchain, Web3, Fintech & Beyond.” Scheduled to take place from November 7 to 9, 2025, at the Computer Science Department, LUMS, the event promises to bring together a vibrant mix of developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across Pakistan. Over the course of 54 hours, participants will collaborate to ideate, build, and pitch their startup concepts, turning ambitious ideas into tangible business prototypes.

This year’s theme focuses on the emerging technologies shaping the global digital economy. With special emphasis on Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Web3, and Fintech, the event will explore the future of digital assets, decentralized platforms, open banking, and financial inclusion. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas, form cross-functional teams, and receive mentorship from seasoned industry professionals and investors. Whether attending as individuals or as part of a team, participants will be immersed in an environment that nurtures creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

Startup Weekend Lahore has long been recognized as a cornerstone event in Pakistan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. It has served as a launchpad for several successful startups, fostering a culture of experimentation and resilience among young innovators. This year’s edition aims to build on that legacy by focusing on technologies that are transforming how businesses and societies function. The platform will also allow participants to engage directly with thought leaders from academia, venture capital, and industry who will guide teams on refining their business models, developing technical prototypes, and pitching to potential investors.

The event is designed for anyone with a passion for innovation — whether they are students eager to explore entrepreneurship, professionals seeking to test their ideas, or tech enthusiasts curious about emerging digital trends. With a structured yet dynamic format, participants will experience every stage of the startup journey, from brainstorming and validation to execution and pitching. The organizers have emphasized that all logistical arrangements, including mentorship, workspace, and resources, will be provided, allowing participants to focus entirely on creativity and execution.

Applications for Startup Weekend Lahore 2025 are currently open and will close on October 25, 2025, at 11:59 PM PKT. Those interested in participating can apply through the official registration form. The event promises to be an inspiring convergence of talent, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit, setting the stage for the next wave of startups that could define Pakistan’s digital future.
