Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has made a groundbreaking announcement, bringing relief to citizens seeking passport renewal. In an effort to ease the burden on people and streamline the process, passports can now be renewed online, eliminating the need to visit any government office.

The initiative aims to revolutionize the passport renewal experience and address the long-standing grievances of citizens who have endured the hassles of long queues and waiting times in the past.

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah took to his official social networking account to make the announcement. In a tweet, he shared the news, stating, “The hassle-free e-passport facility is now available, so passports can be renewed online from anywhere without visiting the office.”

The introduction of the e-passport renewal facility is a significant step forward, sparing citizens the tedious and time-consuming process of visiting passport offices. Previously, obtaining a renewed passport often involved enduring long lines that extended outside the offices, causing unnecessary delays and inconveniences for applicants.

With the new online renewal system in place, citizens can bid farewell to such inefficiencies and complete their passport renewal conveniently from the comfort of their homes or offices.

To avail the e-passport renewal facility, interested individuals can access the official website: [https://onlinemrp.dgip.gov.pk/]. This online platform promises a more streamlined and user-friendly experience, marking a significant leap in the digitization of government services and enhancing citizen convenience.
