PTA received and resolved a significant number of telecom complaints in August 2024. Out of the 19,223 complaints received from telecom consumers, a staggering 19,061 (99 percent) were addressed.

Cellular mobile operators (CMOs) received the most complaints, with 18,546 reported. Jazz, Telenor, Zong, and Ufone received the majority of these complaints, and all operators achieved a resolution rate of over 90 percent.

PTA also received complaints against basic telephony and internet service providers (ISPs). While the resolution rates for these categories were slightly lower, the overall performance of the telecom industry in addressing customer concerns remains commendable.

PTA’s efforts in promptly addressing telecom complaints demonstrate its commitment to protecting consumer rights and ensuring a high-quality telecom experience for Pakistani citizens.
