The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) have signed a contract to upgrade TEVTA’s customer services through the PITB’s Citizen Contact Center, according to a news statement (CCC).
The contract was signed at Arfa Software Technology Park by PITB Chairman Azfar Manzoor and TEVTA Chairman Ali Salman Siddique. The ceremony was attended by Sajid Latif, PITB’s DG e-Governance, Amir Aziz, DG Procurement (TEVTA), and other senior executives from both organizations.
CCC would provide services to the general public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer their questions, concerns, and suggestions on TEVTA, according to the contract. In addition, CCC would provide a toll-free helpline at 0800 83882. TEVTA’s technical and vocational services are designed to address the issues of young people, educating and empowering them. The CCC of the PITB is the first government-to-citizen (G2C) contact center, with SMS messaging, Robo Calls, and Live Agents Calls among its offerings. CCC now serves 30 government agencies across Punjab, thanks to the addition of TEVTA.
