Startups in their early stages are often plagued with the questions such as: Who is my customer? What problems do they have? Do I have a solution to their problems? What are they willing to pay? Will I be able to break even? And so on. How one entrepreneur turns these problems in to solutions determines the success of startups, but not many know the proper procedure and steps required.
Therefore, Labs Movement in partnership with the Unchartered are bringing in the Epiphany Lab, a Business Model Validation Lab, which is a five-day accelerator for early-stage, Pakistan-based entrepreneurs that are tackling social and environmental problems. It is designed to help entrepreneurs rapidly identify and validate the foundational assumptions of their business.

The Epiphany Lab is scheduled to take place in Islamabad from the 24th of October to 28th October 2017, and PC World Pakistan/IDG are proud to be associated as Technology Media Partners for the lab.
The 5 day lab will be providing startups with a step-by-step methodology that can help them rapidly and systematically validate their venture’s business model. Through this lab, entrepreneurs will be able to: Identify the foundational assumptions that underpin their venture; Design and run experiments to validate / invalidate the foundational assumptions (through customer discovery and rapid prototyping);Meet with mentors to get feedback and develop next steps.
Speaking to IDG Pakistan is the Co-Founder at Epiphany Lab, Samar Hasan. She said:
“Through this program we intend to help social entrepreneurs in Pakistan, who are trying to create impact in Pakistan either by solving a social or an environmental problem. Right now the applications are open till October 2nd, so I would invite anybody who is an impact driven startup to apply. The program is for early stage entrepreneurs, so you either have some prototype ready or some business model and you should have at least one customer. If you have more than 100 customers, you are too advanced for us. At the end of this program, the startups will become part of the Unchartered Network and be part of a two thousand likeminded startups.”
Epiphany Lab is bringing in a set of diverse mentors that include names such as: Awais Khan, Samar Hassan, Shahibzada Shah Saud, NyraMahmood, FajerRabia, Fatima Rizwan, AkashShaikh, Saira Ahmad, Salman Ahmad, Gulraiz Khan, Miriam Mehdi, Dr. AnzarKhaliq, Dr. Vaqar Ahmed, Madiha Pervez, and Naeem Iqbal.
