PASHA has announced the addition of two new team members at its Secretariat, a move aimed at enhancing operational capacity across key regional hubs and strengthening support for Pakistan’s rapidly growing information technology and IT enabled services sector. Muhammad Tayyab has joined as Assistant Coordinator in Lahore, while Sadia Iqbal has taken up the role of Assistant Coordinator in Karachi. These appointments reflect PASHA’s continued commitment to reinforcing its internal teams to effectively manage the expanding needs of member companies and the broader technology ecosystem.

According to PASHA, both Muhammad Tayyab and Sadia Iqbal bring a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives to their respective roles. Their contributions are expected to bolster the Secretariat’s day to day operations, improve coordination, and ensure timely execution of initiatives. Lahore and Karachi are among Pakistan’s most significant technology hubs, hosting a large concentration of IT companies, startups, and export-oriented firms. By assigning dedicated coordinators in these cities, PASHA aims to strengthen regional engagement and enhance support for members’ activities, addressing their requirements more effectively while facilitating smoother communication with the Secretariat.

The roles of Assistant Coordinators at PASHA are central to supporting the organization’s diverse programs, events, and advocacy efforts. Responsibilities include liaising with member companies, coordinating industry forums, assisting in capacity-building initiatives, and facilitating policy dialogues both nationally and internationally. In addition, coordinators play a key role in supporting initiatives related to international outreach, helping to position Pakistan’s IT and digital services sector on a global platform. PASHA’s decision to expand its team underscores its commitment to ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining alignment with the strategic priorities of its member companies.

PASHA leadership expressed confidence that the addition of Muhammad Tayyab and Sadia Iqbal will bring meaningful contributions to the Secretariat. Their presence is expected to enhance collaboration within the technology ecosystem, improve engagement with members, and support ongoing efforts to promote industry growth. By strengthening its internal structure, PASHA aims to maintain operational continuity while effectively executing initiatives designed to boost policy alignment, facilitate industry development, and improve the competitiveness of Pakistan’s IT and ITES sector internationally. The Secretariat highlighted that these appointments are part of a broader strategy to reinforce regional representation, ensuring that PASHA can respond proactively to member requirements and continue supporting initiatives that drive innovation, digital transformation, and global market expansion.

With Pakistan’s technology sector continuing to grow, the expansion of PASHA’s team represents a strategic step toward ensuring sustained support for startups, IT companies, and digital service providers. The organization’s focus on internal capacity building highlights its ongoing dedication to advancing industry standards, fostering entrepreneurship, and promoting the sector’s long-term development at both national and international levels. Muhammad Tayyab and Sadia Iqbal are expected to play a pivotal role in achieving these objectives, enhancing PASHA’s ability to support Pakistan’s digital economy.
