Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) has announced a strategic partnership with TechCon Southwest to build stronger connections between Pakistan’s thriving tech ecosystem and global investors, enterprises, and mentors. The initiative is designed to showcase the country’s emerging founder and talent pipeline on an international stage while enabling access to cross-border opportunities and collaborative ventures.

The collaboration marks an important step for Pakistan’s technology sector, which continues to gain recognition for its rapidly expanding startup base and skilled developer community. Through this bridge, P@SHA and TechCon Southwest aim to create a two-way channel of exchange where innovation, talent, and business opportunities can move seamlessly between Pakistan and international markets. The effort focuses on broadening mentorship programs, enabling cross-border pilot projects, and opening new market access channels that strengthen Pakistan’s role in the global technology landscape.

For startups in Pakistan, this collaboration means more than just visibility—it introduces pathways for co-building squads, near-shore product teams, and partnerships designed to accelerate go-to-market strategies. Pakistani founders will have the opportunity to connect directly with investors, gain exposure to enterprise clients, and explore pilot programs with global partners. The emphasis on co-development and rapid iteration reflects a growing appetite within Pakistan’s tech sector to collaborate with global ecosystems that share similar innovation goals.

Investors participating in TechCon Southwest will be able to engage with a strong pool of technical founders and operators from Pakistan who have already demonstrated capability in building scalable solutions across fintech, SaaS, e-commerce, and AI domains. This curated connection aims to match investors seeking emerging market opportunities with the high-caliber talent and entrepreneurial drive found in Pakistan’s tech community. The event is also expected to highlight Pakistan’s growing presence in the international startup scene, which continues to attract attention for its creativity, resourcefulness, and engineering excellence.

TechCon Southwest will take place in Austin, Texas, from February 12–13, 2026, providing an on-ground platform for participants to engage, explore collaboration models, and form long-term business relationships. Interested startups and investors can find more information at techconglobal.com. The partnership between P@SHA and TechCon Southwest reflects a shared commitment to global collaboration and a vision to position Pakistan as a leading contributor to the worldwide technology economy.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come.
