Pakistan’s IT industry is taking another major step toward global outreach as a high-level delegation from PASHA participates in Oslo Innovation Week 2025, being held from October 20 to 24 in Oslo, Norway. The event serves as a key international platform for technology exchange, innovation dialogue, and investment collaboration, allowing Pakistan to present its digital capabilities to global industry leaders, investors, and innovators.
The participation of PASHA at Oslo Innovation Week comes at a time when Pakistan’s IT exports to Norway have shown consistent growth, rising from $16 million in 2020 to $33 million in 2025. This increase demonstrates both the growing potential of Pakistan’s tech ecosystem and the strengthening trade relations between the two countries. By engaging in one of Europe’s leading innovation events, the delegation aims to further expand Pakistan’s access to the Nordic technology market while exploring collaborative projects in areas such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and sustainable innovation.
Supported by HBL, Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan, Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), TEK Norge, and the Embassy of Pakistan in Norway, the PASHA delegation will meet with international investors and policymakers to promote the strengths of Pakistan’s IT and software export industry. Through a series of panel discussions, networking sessions, and exhibitions, the delegation will highlight the growing pool of Pakistani tech talent, competitive service delivery, and the nation’s increasing readiness for global partnerships in digital sectors. The presence of Pakistan’s technology leaders at such an event reflects the country’s ambition to position itself as a reliable digital partner and contributor to the international innovation economy.
The engagement at Oslo Innovation Week will also serve as an opportunity to share insights on Pakistan’s ongoing digital transformation efforts under initiatives like Tech Destination Pakistan. These efforts continue to build global confidence in the country’s ability to deliver advanced technology solutions while fostering collaboration between public and private sectors. By participating in this international gathering, PASHA seeks to attract new investors, enhance visibility for Pakistan’s IT exporters, and create sustainable opportunities for long-term cooperation with global technology ecosystems.
With Oslo Innovation Week 2025 bringing together innovators from across the world, Pakistan’s representation through PASHA underscores a broader vision of integrating its IT industry into global markets. The event will not only strengthen ties between Pakistan and Norway but also highlight the country’s growing role in driving digital innovation and economic progress through international partnerships.
