BitBlaze is proud to provide an exclusive limited-edition collection of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) showcasing Pakistani cricket heroes, including the renowned Wasim Akram.
Previous NFT Collections featured celebrities from the media and sports, such musician Lewis Capaldi and England ex-footballer Michael Owen, to mention a couple. The upcoming collection is no exception, with top musicians and in-demand content exclusively available on Binance NFT.
On June 24th, Binance, the world’s biggest blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange, will host and sell NFTs on its upcoming NFT marketplace. The auction will last seven days, and anyone from anywhere in the world will be able to join and trade on the site. With a low charge for both users and creators, Binance NFT will bring together artists, makers, and crypto fans from all over the world.
“It’s been great to see the rise of digital art collectibles, and I’m thrilled to find another opportunity to communicate with cricket fans all over the world,” Wasim Akram said. It’s wonderful to think that blockchain technology will now provide a permanent home for these incredible memories, as well as a mechanism to capture these significant events in Pakistani cricket history.”
Abdelhamid Benyahia, Operations Manager at Binance MENA, said, “We are incredibly thrilled to welcome BitBlaze as one of our 100 creators on Binance NFT.” We’re happy to announce that one of the first NFTs in their cricket NFT series will feature Wasim Akram, a World Cup-winning athlete and global sporting icon.”
This collection will include never-before-seen photographs from the thrilling 1992 World Cup final victory over England.
Mike Winkelmann, also known as Beeple, a digital artist, sold an NFT of his work for a record-breaking $69 million at Christie’s in March 2021, igniting this burgeoning technology.
“We’re happy to be a part of the NFT launch, and it’s a joy to have one of Pakistan’s most-loved personalities on board,” said Imran Rahim, co-founder of BitBlaze. I recall watching Wasim carry the World Cup as a kid in 1992, so being able to give this to the world is a huge honour.”
“We see enormous potential in the NFT space, and it makes sense to bring together the biggest stars with the biggest platform in the crypto space to provide fans and cricket-lovers around the world with a truly unique opportunity to own a piece of history,” said Arsalan H. Shah, Founder and Director of GAME – Pakistan’s leading sports management company.
