According to the Global System for Mobile Communications digital society index, the economic participation of the mobile sector in Pakistan is expected to reach 24 billion PKR by 2023, according to the Global System for Mobile Communications head of Asia Pacific Julian Gorman, who was speaking at a certificate distribution forum hosted virtually by the Global System for Mobile Communications.

He also stated that digital technologies are transforming the way Pakistanis live and work. Even yet, the Global System for Mobile Communications 2020 Digital Societies Report, which tracks the progress of eleven Asia Pacific target countries, is worth noting. Pakistan, on the other hand, is pushing its economic, sociological, and digital goals, as stated in the Digital Pakistan Perception, he noted.

Syed Aminul Haq, the Federal Minister for Information Technology, stated that the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom is fully committed to the development of entrepreneurs and revolution in Pakistan, while also acknowledging the contributions of the Global System for Mobile Communications.

The organisers of the programme announced rewards for three firms out of 597 start-up appeals received from 44 cities across Pakistan, totaling almost 146 million PKR.
